Holy Week
We have begun the week that Christians call Holy: the seven days from Palm Sunday to the Great Easter Vigil of Holy Saturday. During these days Christians ought to reflect on the events in the life of Jesus that culminate in his passion, death and resurrection. This is his hour, as he said, for which he had come into the world. In some way these days are holy because the events they commemorate make holy those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that through his death and resurrection he has freed us from our sins and granted us a share in his own life and holiness.

OK, now that I am signed up, hopefully I can get the comment in, too. At any rate, as I was saying, this is a great expansion of your apostolate, Father Bill, so please keep it up and let us have much edifying material, reflections, etc.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I notice that Navarra now has a whole web section devoted to Eugenio d'Ors (Alvaro's father, as I know you know). I have yet to really get into it, but it looks like it will be very good. I did not find the one thing I was looking for there, however, which is his famous (?) essay "Aprendizaje y heroismo", but I DID find it at Librosdot.com and downloaded it. I may try my hand at translating some or all of it into English, as it, too, is very edifying. Of course if you want to do it yourself, you will do a better job.
